SOHO · A COURTYARD PAUSE
Garlic
& Shots.
Rough edges.
Right up our street.
After the polished hotel bars, Garlic & Shots felt like a different London. Bottled drinks, a red fence, trailing greenery and a courtyard with absolutely no interest in looking immaculate. Rich’s affectionate description: as if a building had been knocked down and someone had brought the debris.
That roughness is part of why we liked it. A place to sit back together, have a laugh and stop pretending we were sophisticated for five minutes. The photographs tell the story: scruffy, characterful and completely at ease with itself.
Find this stop on the map ↗A red fence, trailing greenery and a moment together outside.
